About FluoSolv® NPX
FluoSolv® NPX is a high-performance, non-PFAS solvent blend engineered by NuGenTec for heavy-duty vapor degreasing, cold cleaning, and precision-cleaning applications. Its proprietary combination of fluorinated solvents and trans-1,2-dichloroethylene (t-DCE) provides exceptional solvency, high density, low surface tension, and low viscosity for rapid removal of heavy greases, oils, lubricants, particulates, and other difficult manufacturing soils.
With a Kauri-Butanol (KB) value of 103, FluoSolv® NPX delivers aggressive cleaning performance while providing low Global Warming Potential (GWP), zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), no open- or closed-cup flash point, and broad material compatibility. FluoSolv® NPX does not contain PFAS under the EPA Reporting and Recordkeeping Requirements for Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances final rule dated September 28, 2023, providing a high-performance option for applications seeking to transition away from PFAS-containing cleaning technologies.
