About FluoSolv® NC-786
FluoSolv® NC-786 is a high-performance, non-chlorinated azeotropic solvent blend engineered by NuGenTec for precision vapor degreasing, defluxing, and critical-cleaning applications. Its proprietary combination of fluorinated fluids, cyclopentane, and isopropyl alcohol (IPA) provides an effective balance of solvency, high density, low surface tension, and low viscosity for rapid removal of particulates, fingerprints, light oils, flux residues, and other manufacturing soils.
Unlike many conventional high-performance vapor-degreasing solvents, FluoSolv® NC-786 contains no trans-1,2-dichloroethylene (t-DCE) or other chlorinated solvents, making it particularly well suited for applications and geographic locations where chlorinated-solvent use is restricted or undesirable. FluoSolv® NC-786 is a drop-in replacement for Asahi AK-225 and Vertrel® MCA and provides low Global Warming Potential (GWP), zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), high worker exposure limits, and excellent chemical stability.
Contact NuGenTec technical experts for assistance evaluating FluoSolv® NC-786 as a replacement for AK-225, Vertrel® MCA, t-DCE-containing blends, or other precision vapor-degreasing and defluxing solvents in your cleaning process.
