About FluoSolv® CX
FluoSolv® CX is a high-performance vapor-degreasing solvent engineered by NuGenTec for maximum solvency and rapid removal of difficult manufacturing soils. Its proprietary blend of nonflammable hydrofluoroethers (HFEs) and trans-1,2-dichloroethylene (t-DCE) combines high density, low surface tension, low viscosity, and a Kauri-Butanol (KB) value of 95 to deliver exceptional wetting and cleaning performance in demanding precision and industrial cleaning applications.
FluoSolv® CX is designed as a drop-in replacement for trichloroethylene (TCE), n-propyl bromide (nPB), and Chemours Vertrel™ SDG and can replace legacy ozone-depleting solvents including AK-225 and HCFC-141b. Its high Wetting Index promotes close contact between the solvent and component surfaces for rapid contaminant removal, while its chemical stability enables efficient solvent reclamation and reuse. FluoSolv® CX has also successfully completed aerospace conformity testing including Boeing D6-17487 Revision P and ARP 1755B.
Contact NuGenTec technical experts for assistance evaluating FluoSolv® CX as a replacement for TCE, nPB, Vertrel™ SDG, or other high-solvency cleaning fluids in your vapor-degreasing or precision-cleaning process.
