About FluoSolv® AP
FluoSolv® AP is a high-performance, azeotropic vapor-degreasing and defluxing solvent engineered by NuGenTec for demanding precision-cleaning applications. Its proprietary blend of hydrofluoroethers (HFEs), trans-1,2-dichloroethylene (t-DCE), and a small amount of alcohol combines high solvency, low surface tension, low viscosity, and rapid residue-free drying for efficient removal of oils, greases, flux residues, white residues, particulates, and other difficult manufacturing soils.
Approved for use under Boeing BAC5408, FluoSolv® AP provides stable, consistent performance in vapor-degreasing systems while offering zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), low Global Warming Potential (GWP), and excellent materials compatibility. Its high solvency makes it an effective alternative to legacy n-propyl bromide (nPB), HCFC-225, HCFC-141b, and other aggressive vapor-degreasing and defluxing solvents.
FluoSolv® AP is chemically stable during use and can be reclaimed and reused through conventional distillation equipment to help reduce solvent consumption and operating cost.
