About FluoSolv® 73DE
FluoSolv® 73DE is a high-performance, high-solvency cleaning fluid engineered as a direct, drop-in replacement for 3M™ Novec™ 73DE Engineered Fluid. Designed primarily for heavy-duty vapor degreasing and immersion cleaning, FluoSolv® 73DE combines exceptional solvency, low surface tension, low viscosity, nonflammability, and stable composition for demanding precision and industrial cleaning applications.
With a Kauri-Butanol (KB) value of 83, FluoSolv® 73DE provides aggressive cleaning performance for removal of heavy greases, oils, waxes, silicones, non-polar flux residues, machining fluids, and other difficult organic soils. Its excellent wetting characteristics promote penetration into tight spaces and complex component geometries, while its low boiling point enables rapid cleaning and drying cycles.
FluoSolv® 73DE provides an effective alternative to legacy nPB, TCE, HCFC-225, HCFC-141b, and high-GWP solvent cleaning technologies.
Contact NuGenTec technical experts for assistance evaluating FluoSolv® 73DE as a replacement for 3M™ Novec™ 73DE in your heavy-duty vapor-degreasing or precision-cleaning process.
