ABOUT FLUOSOLV® 7700
FluoSolv® 7700 is a high-performance dielectric heat-transfer fluid engineered as a direct, drop-in replacement for 3M™ Novec™ 7700 Engineered Fluid. Designed for higher-temperature thermal-management applications, FluoSolv® 7700 combines a high boiling point, very low volatility, excellent dielectric properties, nonflammability, and thermal stability for reliable heat transfer in demanding electronic and industrial systems.
With a boiling point of 167.0°C (332.6°F) and vapor pressure below 0.10 kPa at 25°C, FluoSolv® 7700 provides significantly reduced evaporation compared with lower-boiling fluorinated heat-transfer fluids. Its dielectric characteristics make it particularly well suited for single-phase electronics cooling, high-temperature semiconductor equipment, power electronics, thermal testing, and other applications requiring precise temperature control around sensitive electrical components.
