ABOUT AQUAKLEAN® EF129

AquaKlean® EF129 is a heavy-duty alkaline liquid cleaner engineered for demanding agitated tank, immersion, and spray cleaning. Its very-low-foam, silicate-inhibited chemistry removes oils, grease, fingerprints, inks, metalworking fluids, drawing compounds, and polishing and buffing residues from both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Built-in silicate inhibition allows AquaKlean® EF129 to clean sensitive substrates including aluminum and zinc while providing excellent wetting, reduced residues, and fast rinsing. These characteristics make it particularly well suited for pre-plate cleaning and other metal-finishing operations where consistent surface preparation is critical.

AquaKlean® EF129 is formulated as a drop-in replacement for Oakite-Chemetall Ardrox® 6471. It can be used from ambient conditions through elevated-temperature cleaning, with higher temperatures providing greater cleaning power and potentially shorter process cycles.
