NuGenTec’s SuperGreen® Concentrate degreaser and all purpose cleaner is powerful and versatile enough for industrial and commercial cleaning purposes, but safe and gentle enough for use as a residential cleaner. It contains no VOCs (volatile organic compounds) or hazardous ingredients. pH-Neutral Degreaser & All-Purpose Cleaner

A good rule of thumb when considering the pH level of a cleaning product is this: the more acidic (0-5.5 pH) a solution is, the better it is for removing calcium, rust, minerals, and the like; the more alkaline it is (8.5-14 pH), the better it is for removing organic materials like oils, grease, dirt, etc. Neutral formulas (5.5-8.5 pH) are the “best of both worlds”—equally adept at removing all types of contaminants.

With a neutral pH of 7.5, SuperGreen® is well-suited to all types of cleaning applications.

Cleaners vs. Degreasers

Every degreaser is a cleaner, but not every cleaner is a degreaser. Degreasers are specially formulated to remove grease, etc.; most “all purpose cleaners” will also remove at least some grease, and many “all purpose degreasers” will provide at least some general cleaning capabilities. However, it is best to use a product that is designed for the particular cleaning challenge you’re dealing with.

No-VOC All Purpose Cleaner & Degreaser

A volatile organic compound, or VOC, is one of many chemicals that off-gasses harmful vapors into the atmosphere. If inhaled, especially in high concentration or over extended periods, VOCs can cause a variety of health problems, from headaches and eye, nose, or throat irritation (caused by brief exposure) to cancer and permanent central nervous system damage (caused by many years’ exposure).

For safety’s sake, it is recommended that VOCs be avoided entirely. Unfortunately, many common cleaning products and everyday chemicals contain VOCs. These include certain paints, gasoline, cosmetics, even carpet and vinyl flooring.

NuGenTec’s SuperGreen® Concentrate contains no VOCs and no hazardous substances of any kind, and is completely biodegradable. This makes it one of the safest and most eco-friendly degreasers on the market.
