About NuKoat NRMF
NuKoat NRMF is a liquid no-rinse iron-phosphate cleaner and conversion coating designed to clean and phosphate ferrous-metal surfaces in a single processing step. The formulation produces a thin, amorphous phosphate layer that provides an effective foundation for subsequent liquid paint, powder-coat and spray-coating systems.
The defining advantage of NuKoat NRMF is its no-rinse process. After cleaning and conversion coating, the treated surface does not require a conventional water-rinse stage, helping simplify equipment layouts, reduce water consumption and wastewater generation, and shorten the overall pretreatment sequence.
NuKoat NRMF provides good corrosion resistance under paint and excellent coating adhesion while operating at relatively low temperatures. It can be applied by spray or immersion and produces a typical coating weight of 20–70 mg/ft². The formulation contains no molybdate or fluoride and has a VOC content of 0 g/L.
