About NuKoat 33MF
NuKoat 33MF is a liquid iron-phosphate conversion coating designed to clean and phosphate metal surfaces in a single processing step. The formulation creates a thin, amorphous phosphate layer that provides an effective foundation for subsequent liquid paint, powder-coat and spray-coating systems.
NuKoat 33MF is engineered to improve both corrosion resistance and coating adhesion while simplifying pretreatment operations. Its enhanced wetting characteristics reduce surface tension and improve penetration of the cleaning and conversion-coating chemistry, resulting in cleaner surfaces and highly uniform phosphate deposition.
The product is suitable for steel and mixed-metal processing, including galvanized steel, zinc and aluminum. It can be applied by spray or immersion and is designed for use in both three-stage and five-stage pretreatment systems. NuKoat 33MF provides effective steel corrosion resistance without the use of molybdates or fluorides.
