About NuGenTec HDS44
NuGenTec HDS44 is a heavy-duty, highly alkaline aqueous cleaner formulated for demanding industrial metal-cleaning applications. Its silicated chemistry provides aggressive removal of grease, shop oils, inks, carbonaceous deposits, smut, metalworking fluids, drawing compounds, buffing and lapping compounds, and burned-on waxes and oils.
HDS44 is designed for use on ferrous metals, aluminum and stainless steel in high-pressure spray, immersion and ultrasonic cleaning systems. Built-in corrosion protection helps protect aluminum and steel during processing, while the integrated defoamer maintains low-foam operation even when the bath becomes contaminated with foaming coolants or soils.
The formulation also splits oil during settling, allowing separated oils to be skimmed from the bath and simplifying solution maintenance. Cleaning speed can be increased with higher operating temperatures, providing flexibility across both moderate- and heavy-soil applications. For micron-filtration applications, NuGenTec recommends HDS90 instead.
