About NuTherm® HC-30
NuTherm® HC-30 is a high-performance potassium formate/water heat-transfer fluid engineered for closed-loop systems requiring reliable low-temperature protection and highly efficient thermal transfer. With its combination of low viscosity, high thermal conductivity, high specific heat, and broad operating-temperature capability, NuTherm® HC-30 provides an efficient alternative to conventional glycol, PAG, and calcium chloride heat-transfer fluids.
NuTherm® HC-30 is nonflammable, biodegradable, zero-VOC, and formulated with a robust corrosion-inhibition package for use with a broad range of common system metals. Its lower potassium formate concentration provides an excellent balance of freeze protection, pumpability, and heat-transfer efficiency for industrial refrigeration, process cooling, data-center secondary cooling, and other closed-loop thermal-management systems where the extreme low-temperature protection of HC-40 or HC-50 is not required.
