About ElectroPolish EP-SS
ElectroPolish EP-SS is a high-performance electropolishing solution engineered for stainless steels, titanium and advanced alloys including nickel-titanium (NiTi), Ti6Al4V, Ti-Au and cobalt-chrome. The electrochemical process selectively removes metal from microscopic high points, producing a stress-free, microscopically smooth and often highly reflective surface.
Unlike conventional mechanical polishing, EP-SS does not smear, bend, stress or fracture the crystalline metal surface to achieve smoothness and luster. Controlled electrochemical material removal makes it particularly effective for micro- and macro-deburring while improving surface finish, corrosion resistance and passivity on many ferrous and selected non-ferrous alloys.
EP-SS is non-flammable and highly conductive, supporting efficient electropolishing at lower current and voltage while eliminating the need for cryogenic cooling. Its broad alloy capability makes it suitable for precision components where surface integrity, dimensional control and consistent finishing are critical.
