About ElectroPolish EP-PCI
ElectroPolish EP-PCI is a highly conductive electropolishing solution engineered specifically for brass. The electrochemical process selectively removes metal ions from microscopic high points on the surface, creating a uniform, stress-free finish that is smoother, brighter and more passive than the untreated metal.
Unlike conventional mechanical polishing, EP-PCI does not smear, bend, stress or fracture the crystalline metal surface to achieve smoothness and luster. This makes the process particularly effective for micro- and macro-deburring, dimensional surface refinement and applications where mechanically induced surface damage must be minimized.
EP-PCI combines high conductivity with a broad operating-temperature range and does not require cryogenic cooling. The resulting process can improve brass surface smoothness, reflectivity, corrosion resistance and passivity while supporting efficient current and voltage utilization.
