About ElectroPolish EP-PSCI
ElectroPolish EP-PSCI is a high-performance electropolishing solution engineered for stainless steels, titanium, Nitinol and related specialty alloys. The electrochemical process selectively removes microscopic high points from the metal surface, producing a smoother, more uniform finish without the mechanical deformation associated with grinding or conventional polishing.
EP-PSCI is designed for precision surface leveling, micro- and macro-deburring, brightening and refinement of complex metal components. Controlled removal of the outer surface layer can reduce roughness, improve cleanliness and enhance the finished appearance of precision parts while preserving intricate component geometries.
Within the NuGenTec electropolishing family, EP-PSCI provides an intermediate level of process aggressiveness—more aggressive than EP-PCI and less aggressive than EP-316—providing additional flexibility when selecting chemistry for alloy composition, surface condition and desired material-removal rate.
