About FluoSolv® 7100
FluoSolv® 7100 is a clear, colorless, low-odor hydrofluoroether (HFE) engineered as a direct, drop-in replacement for 3M™ Novec™ 7100 Engineered Fluid. With zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), low surface tension, excellent materials compatibility, and a 750 ppm time-weighted average exposure guideline, FluoSolv® 7100 provides a versatile solution for precision cleaning, vapor degreasing, rinsing, drying, and specialty solvent applications.
FluoSolv® 7100 can be used neat, as an azeotropic component, or in co-solvent cleaning processes for removal of light oils, fluorolubes, particulates, and other light-duty contaminants. Its chemical and thermal stability, nonflammability, and excellent wetting characteristics also make it suitable for lubricant carrying, spot-free rinsing and drying, spray contact cleaning, dielectric testing, dispersion and reaction media, and heat-transfer applications.
