The world's first Compostable ASTM F-2100 Level-3 face mask.
Got PPE?™
Ezzimed® 3-layer Mask (actually, this mask has 4-layers). This mask is designed for comfort and safety and has some of the best breathability statistics of all medical exam masks. The inner layer (4) is made of soft cotton for a gentle and non-irritating facial feel.
Don't be fooled by the other "disposable" masks on the market. They are made of plastic which takes between 100-450 years to break down. Ezzimed is certified to fully compost in 28 days or less (in Industrial Compost).
These masks are made from plants grown in the USA and Canada and then made in Canada. Since they are made from plants, even incinerating them doesn't add any new carbon to the atmosphere (think greenhouse gases). Currently, the masks offer a 55% Carbon Offset/Credit.
Sorry, we are only selling these masks in cases of 40 boxes with 50 masks per inner box. However, you can buy smaller quantities on Amazon.com; see the Link Below.
Ezzimed 3-ply face masks are made with compostable material that is breathable, comfortable, and disposable. These masks reduce the global impact PPE has on the environment. Our flexible black masks are unisex one size fits all and are perfect for kids and adults. They offer excellent comfort and fit better than more traditional plastic masks found in other brands. Each mask produces 55% less CO2 emissions over its life cycle compared to traditional 3-layer surgical masks. Perfect to pack with your other everyday essentials to always have protection. Adult and child approved! Each box comes with 50-masks. Proudly made in Canada.
