Introduction

FluoSolv® Contact Cleaner Lubricant is a non-flammable, high-performance cleaning solvent formulated as a direct replacement for 3M™ Novec™ Contact Cleaner/Lubricant. It provides effective removal of particulate, oils, and light contaminants while depositing a thin, durable lubricant layer designed to improve electrical contact performance and extend component life.

FluoSolv® Contact Cleaner Lubricant is safe for use on most plastics, elastomers, and metals, making it an excellent choice for precision cleaning and lubrication of sensitive electronics and electrical assemblies.

Material Compatibility

Extensive testing demonstrates that FluoSolv® Contact Cleaner Lubricant is compatible with:

• Metals: Stainless steel, Aluminum, Copper, brass
• Plastics: ABS, Nylon, Polycarbonate, HDPE, CDPE, C.E. Phenolic, PMMA*, POM, PP, PS, PTFE, and PVC. *May damage stressed acrylics. Test before use.
• Elastomers: Compatible with butyl rubber, VitonTM, fluoropolymer elastomers. Incompatible with silicone, fluoroelastomers, polyurethane.
• Sensitive Materials: Safe on most circuit board conformal coatings

Free Solvent Sample and Vapor Degreaser for Testing

NuGenTec offers a small loaner vapor degreaser and a loaner 5-gallon pail to assist with your testing. The loaner vapor degreaser plugs into a standard wall outlet and fits on a standard pallet. This allows you to test our FluoSolv® solvent in your own controlled environment without immediately changing the solvent in your current equipment.
