AquaKlean Die Cast Aluminum Cleaner

An excellent multi-metal cleaner for removing tenacious oils, greases and particulate.  Highly effective Die Cast Aluminium cleaner that does not attack metal and produce smut.

Description

NuGeneration Technologies’ AquaKlean^® Die Cast Cleaner is a pH neutral, natural liquid cleaner, formulated with the natural solvent derived from orange peels.  AquaKlean Die Cast Cleaner offers environmental compatibility, user safety and low cost for disposal for heavy duty cleaning of all surfaces, including sensitive Die Cast Aluminium/Aluminum, which easily forms tenacious, and hard to remove black smut if exposed to improper cleaners.  AquaKlean Die Cast Cleaner is an excellent cleaner for tenacious oils and greases, and a great alternative to toxic petroleum solvents, chlorinated solvents and mild alkaline cleaners traditionally used on Die Cast Aluminium/Aluminum parts.

Characteristics

AquaKlean Die Cast Cleaner was formulated to be effective at cleaning in a broad range of applications, and safe for use on most metals, including ferrous and non-ferrous alloys such as Copper/Copper alloys, Aluminium/Aluminium Alloys, Die Cast Aluminium, Galvanized surfaces, etc.  AquaKlean Die Cast Cleaner may be used after vibratory finishes, where Die Cast Aluminium is exposed to vibratory fluids and lubricants which produce smut and leave residues on surface finished parts.  AquaKlean Die Cast Cleaner removes these soils and lifts away Silicon particulates, leaving the surface lustrous, clean, and ready for post-treatments such as painting.

Directions for Use

AquaKlean Die Cast Cleaner is effective at ambient temperatures and should be used at 20% by volume of water, minimum.  The higher concentrations of the product helps to prevent attack on the Die Cast Aluminium parts, and subsequent formation of smut.  The parameters can vary due to the type and extent of soils to be removed.  NuGeneration Technologies recommends that AquaKlean Die Cast Cleaner be operated at a maximum temperature of 40 °C, and parts be run in ultrasonics for 30 seconds to 5 minutes.  Rinse immediately after processing.
